Dance of Days is a glorious collection of poetry that follows Ruth Calder Murphy's other volumes that make up The Dance collection; Ghost Dance and Sun Dance. This books is lively and yet remains well grounded. It is a celebration of all things that bind us together in the human experience - family and vacations, sunrises, walks in the forest, and sending your youngest off to school. On occasion Dance of Days illuminates the shadowy parts of life, sometimes it will make you laugh, always it will touch your soul.Whether this is the first book of Ms. Calder Murphy's that you are reading or if you are continuing to journey with Ruth through her poetry, you will be delighted by this collection. Each poem is a small masterpiece and surely Ruth Calder Murphy's poetry will go down as some of the best this era has to offer.
